  • does that dog have 3 legs?

  • i want in the team if you will let me...and when im old enough to derby...im 15...almost there :)

  • yea bcarbaugh said what was on my mind we have alot up here in PA.

  • you should come to richmond indiana for a derby.Richmond is right on the other side of Ohio.If you go down 70 you can't miss it.We have a lot of cars show up every year.It is a good show

  • This car was fun to compete with. Hope you had fun Eric!!!

  • This vid made me tthink of something my buddy did. He ran a 92 Caddy (the front wheel drive V8 ones) and he had the radio and air conditioner on. Of course he was just goofing off cause with no windows and cars with no exhaust neither of those comforts are really a comfort

  • I go out to bowling green tractor pulls alot,my in laws have pulling tractors.

  • I guess you never travel to PA for Derbies? We have a lot around here.

  • @bcarbaugh I live on the other side of Ohio, if PA was closer I would definitely be at some of them

  • tell him he needs to notch atleast 40% of the frame or the humps will kink first.

  • @Mopar4life440 I'm going to bring a battery powered cutting wheel incase he hasnt made it any bigger...

  • @DemolitionMissions good idea

  • Keep in mind that the police use thicker side wall tires. If you can work a deal with the police to get their old tires. Also get rid of the carpet.. Fire hazard for sure!

  • Cool! Good Luck!

    Les

  • better double notch that thing or it'll still go to the ground the problem is after the hump the frame slopes downward gotta notch it up by the humps as well . collaps those bumpershocks as well dosent look like thier compressed. if he's allowed to other than that good build . the double notch is a must with the 77+ gm's for them to roll right.

  • looks great so for that event u can put headers in and the events ur planing r u going to put headers in the tunderbird

  • @eviltrucks101 Yea my thunderbird will have the engine from my lincoln with headers.

  • Aw man. People are after the 2 door Caprices, that thing would have been collectible.

  • wow rare 2door for that year

  • What are the notches for in the back?

Also, are YOU (since your not doing complete stock) allowed to weld your own cross-frame infront of the rad?

  • I don't know. If it's similar era wagon don't run a rear bumper. But on a sedan. I don't think it would help or hurt taking it off. If you can't chain the hood at 4 points. Don't run with a hood. It will just get in the way. These hood are junk. Even with 4 chunks of allthread. They don't run hoods or trunk lids in northern NY's stock derbys. Watch their videos and you'll know why.

  • @kgilroy25 its kinda stupid to run withiput a hood. They dont get in the way usually with it off ure losing strength and u will cover your engine with SHIT and yeah u see what I mean we run Hit to pass and derbys h2p is oval track racing bashing into eachother spinning em out and we do better than everyone else because we run a hood. U dont chain it theres other ways, I will make a vid of how we got out setup this year.
