basically, cypher, in our community, is defined as a method or technique of smoking. i really couldn't tell you the origin, and no, this is not the dictionary definition of what a cypher, or cipher is, but the original use in this way may have been an ellusion to decoding secrets of the self or mind perhaps (my personal theory).

so, with this definition in mind, the cyphersmith is a person, whiteside in this instance, who would devise or perhaps refine cyphers or methods of smoking.

not the best, i stay humble. i stick to exotic. color layout, crystals, seed ripeness, and breakdown. i use what woud go perfectly with the peice. a lot of people down shwagg. but when you smoked it and you live for enough from mexico to get home grown batches that are from seedlings that have randomly appened in to the region. you can not only see, taste, and smell the difference between good reggae, you can feeel it in the crash.
