  • New Labour or Blue Labour? Neither thanks, it's time this country stopped being the EU's bitch and got a fresh new party in charge.

  • Iain, is it just me, or does this strike a similar note to the News On Sunday ads from the 1980s? :)

  • Yeah Tim Montgomerie really represents 'ordinary people', whomever they are.

  • I watched half of the video. Life is too short to waste time on this.

  • Ian

    I predict you'll get:

    - people going on about "the blacks"

    - people with complicated conspiracy theories about jews, freemasons, and the rotarians.

    - somebody whose aunt died in hospital blaming the Government

Most people with strong opinions also have mad opinions.

I'm not saying this won't make good TV.

The comments thread of Comment is Free is a good example of this. I often visit there for a laugh at the nutters.

  • The question is if they will have the guts to broadcast the politically incorrect views of ordinary people. Probably not given the feel of the trailer, but we shall see.

  • Yes, I too take Lewis' pessimism as an unmistakable sign of leftism. I, for one, find this newfound empowerment of the little people to be exciting, and a development that will likely stand out in history books as a key moment in the development of human civilization.

  • Wouldn't be on the left would you, Lewis, by any chance?

  • I know what your up to

  • looks cheap and hopeless, and it's going to fail miserably.

  • I look forward to it!
