Man, I know how Leo feels since he loved Mei for 3 years, and Jin snatched her away in just 3 days, but what he did was just stupid... Now, Leo has no purpose to serve the military, and Jin's sadness will always be like the snow pelting on him. Ahh, such a sad metaphor, and such a tragedy of love. :'(

Honestly did not find this to be a very good film, but the scenery and color, especially with the bamboo forest scene is amazing. Props to Zhang Yimou again. If I had to pinpoint my distaste, it'd probably be on the unceasing romance... made things predictable and completely took over the entire movie. I still like "Hero" better. Go China.
