no python would bite and then constrict you in the wild. constricting is almost strictly with the intent of eating the victim, and humans are very rarely on the menu. of course it has happened before, but it is extremely rare. if you did have a large snake latched on to you, usually maneuvering so that the snake's entire weight is on the ground will get it to let go...or hot water on it's head works, if that's available. beautiful snake!
