For those of you who do not know. Yes Angola was colonized by the portuguese, but the area where they are mining is very close to the Congo. Since most of their trade has been with the congo they speak better french than portuguese. There are not many schools in the area that have teachers, and many of their teachers were also educated in the Congo.

If you notice, I think Portuguese is the only colonisator language that is ACTUALLY spoken by Africans among them, Angolans, Mozambicans speak in Portuguese among them. You don't see that with French in Senegal or Congo, where French is only the language of scolarization. Among them, they speak local languages.Portuguese colonization was indeed different
