When I put this up I was hoping people would use the 2008 Olympics as a chance to protest about human rights in China, and the oppression of the country of Tibet by the Chinese government. Sadly, the Chinese government seemed pretty successful in neutering the Western media, who mainly reported about the lovely stadia and swimming pools and ignored the ordinary people whose homes had been demolished to build them. Tibet is still being oppressed. There is still no democracy. Please don't forget.

Sometimes pride cause more pain and unrest then surrendering......less people will be killed if Tibet puts their pride aside and let themselves become part of China, sure it's not ideal, that's life, so those choosing to fight for independence are making a choice to suffer because of their pride, so good for them for trying but in reality it's a futile fight.

Sometimes pride cause more pain and unrest then surrendering......less people will be killed if Tibet puts their pride aside and let themselves become part of China, sure it's not ideal, that's life, so those choosing to fight for independence are making a choice to suffer because of their pride, so good for them for trying but in reality it's a futile fight.

Buddhism teaches humility... They cannot breathe in a communist nation. China needs to put their pride aside and let Tibet thrive on their own.

What's your solution to the situation..what should other countries do? Cut off their ties with China, turn stop importing and exporting with China until they give up Tibet? Should other countries stop outsourcing to China? Should countries with military power go in there and take charge? He goes around the world preaching peace and freedom, yet, for anyone who is interested in his history, just do a simple google search and you will see, even before the supposed Chinese invasion of Tibet, what condition his "servents" were in. It's basically slavery, but called a surfdom because the servents got paid next to nothing and had to pay huge fees to their masters.

Anybody who says Tibet is a part of China (because they invaded it) needs to check their history. And I don't mean the history they teach in Beijing District School 1466...

China is governed by a fascist dictatorship. They are killing and jailing more Tibetans then you may suppose -- we can stop them from being a global power and destroying the world though economic pressure, and boycott ... Tibet can be free
