After picking up my guitar two years ago, after some 40 odd years, this was one of the first numbers I learned from your video. So thanks for helping me back.
Thanks again JohnnyLad, I am going to record again soon bypassing the small microphone on the video camera and recording direct to DVD to hopefully get better quality. I have been busy co-writing with someone from Sweden recently and it takes up some time.
Thanks for you comment, I have been playing since 1969 and Albatross was the tune that inspired me to learn the guitar. I still think I could improve on it. Perhaps when I am satisfied with my guitar playing it will be time to give it up.
Sounds great! Brings back student-day memories. And thanks for the lovely photo at Kerr's Miniature Railway which you sent to Alistair. See it at the exhibition in July. Jill Kerr
you were able to capture the eerie sounds of this............very well done. Thanks

I am watching this over and over :)
Your happiness reflects the song's mood of relaxed contemplation.
I am learning to play this, is it possible for you to share the drum backing track that you are using ?
thanks

Excellent! I like your gentle feel for the piece & the way you strum up the neck to get a crisper sound.

Really nice video. Good to see someone who's enjoying themselves playing! Too many vids have people scowling or posturing.
