whats the trick for deeper water and the pumping that you do out there? as soon as i hit any sort of deep water my board skinks. I have two boards, one is for lighter weight and one for heavier weight and it still gives me trouble.

well first make sure you have a proper board for deep water stuff, you cant be riding any make-shift wood board, anything like a polyuarthane or foam board keeps you on the water. also its all about speed to get out to the wave.
