  • First time I heard this I had to PLOTZ!! Definition of the word - Groove. Great posting....

  • un des meilleurs bassiste au monde ce gars, un génie

  • une tuerie musical ce morceau complètement roots,,jolie*

  • My bass teacher says reggae is not interesting for bass players. I'm laughing right now.

  • @amentjam Are you sure your teacher plays bass?

  • @skulliz Upright bass actually. He's a good teacher to say the truth. He just doesn't like reggae

  • @amentjam I'm laughing right now too! And crying at the same time. I wish there were more REAL musicians in the world then these computer geeks!

  • does anyone know what effect bullock is using when he starts playing chords?

  • if he'd of worked with what Family Man did he'd have a better starting point...but oh,well.

  • clone scone weird cut as per all preceding jacoo ok ok its him but ....different be sure to drop by and critique my stuff .lots to go at sincerely lsd125records

  • O my god dude.... Jaco was a fuckin behemoth on the bass. I shot the sheriff is such an easy song to play, but if you listen closely Jaco never repeated the phrasings indentically. He always played each chord proggression a little diffrent each time he came to it. THats fuckin outstanding man. He said so much in this song, but the whole time he was just mellowing out holding down the groove. Damn dude. Spectacular. One of my fav jaco pieces because it really shows who he is as a muscician

  • Jaco...Hiram Bullock...Kenwood Dennard are the band here....

  • @gatorindo Hiram R.I.P..

  • This is so sumptuously chill ^.^

    gotta love it :D

  • YYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! XD......too sick!

  • ok got to the solo its him

  • there is no way this is jaco never

  • @funghighlsd25records

This IS Jaco, Hiram Bullock and Kenwood Dennard.

  • @funghighlsd25records sory, but if this ain´t jaco it´s his clone!!!

  • Wondeful !

    thanks

  • he s jammin with jimi now

  • Kenwood played drums

  • you say hiram bullock on guitar ? maybe marcus is not lol ! but I though so..

  • do not forget the guitarist, if I m right marcus miller is th one, the master.

  • @Snoeress marcus miller played guitar? woah man.

  • @StraitjacketAirsoft It's Hiram Bullock.

  • This is one of the best versions of this tune. I have loved this recording for years...

  • He was the God ! ! Jaco

  • He was the God ! !

  • Hey, man! Thanks for posting this! This is brilliant!! It's so full of passion! I love it! Is there a version in a higher quality? :)

  • @Frostlyo yes, the original by the great Family Man Barrett ;-)

  • hahahahaha.sounds very funny.you guys are damn good.i feel relieved now

  • Yep, that's Hiram alright. I used to have this album back when I was like 16. Great jams throughout. Rest in peace Jaco and Hiram.

  • Thats not Bireli Lagrene, thats Hiram Bullock.

  • This is a cool one! I always liked it when I played bass and nowadays I like it because of Lagrenes Guitar. Great Solos and exceptional use of the Wah-Wah Pedal!

But since I know the recordings I wonder why they are tuned between G and Gb resp. not a clean half step but somewhere in between. I think the rendering must be either too fast or low. May anyone explain?

  • @davidschertler It's Hiram Bullock on guitar, not Bireli Lagrene.

  • @davidschertler That way they fooled YT to upload it and the sensor could not recognize the song because it's in a different key.

  • awesome

  • who was that really?

  • First Rating, cause you deserve it !!!

    Top Sound !!!
