The form is invalid. It is missing mysterium fidei and almost all vernacular's use "...for you and all so that so sins may be foregiven." Error in the form that produces a different meaning then what the church intends invalidates the sacrament.

"Mysterium fidei" is not essential to the form of the sacrament. The Church has always considered the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom valid, and it does not include this phrase.

Likewise, although "for all" rather than "for many" was a foolish change in the translations (no doubt deliberate) the original Latin NO did not say "for all". So this is not a feature of the Mass in itself, but an abuse in translation. Anyway, I don't see how it would invalidate the Sacrament.

One important point that is overlooked is the validity of the NO priestly ordinations (from 1968 on). Since they are highly doubtful too, you also have no sacraments you can rely on either.

How are the priestly ordinations invalid? Also: how is it possible that an indefictable and infallible church promulgate an invalid and evil sacrament, so that her faithful everyone will no longer have access to eternal life (since they no longer have the Eucharist)? That is the same as saying that the church has essentially ceased to exist.

No, we still have a Pope, and some valid bishops (the older ones) and of course the fsspx bishops who were ordained in 1988, despite heavy resistance from Rome. The key to the invalidity of the new sacraments is the NO liturgy which was promulgated in 1968-69. 1968 New ordinations,1969 new Mass. I don't say it is 100% sure invalid, i'm saying they are doubtful, and therefore off limits for catholics. The Church will never be conquered by satan. Of course She can become very small.

If you consider what has been removed from the tridentine ordinations form,then you can only conclude that the present ordinations are nothing more then Anglican ordinations at best. Power to consacrate,to celebrate Holy Sacrifice for the living and the dead,Power to forgive sins,power to change wine and bread into the Body and Blood of Christ,all these are not explicitly transmitted anymore with words and ritual.

If you believe that the new Sacraments are only *possibly* invalid (doubtful) but not *certainly* invalid, I don't think I disagre, and I won't bother arguing. I agree that they aren't as good as the old Sacraments (or "new" Sacraments since they never change).

In 1968, the rite of the holy orders are changed in such a way that protestants have no objection. You should see the texts of the tridentine rite of holy orders. It is such an immense difference with the NO ordinations. In comparison to those texts,the NO ritual seems like a protestant one, in other words, no consecration of a priest, but a ritual to install a new minister.

What makes the Church? the truths that Christ taught us to believe. The New Church does not hold to those truths. SSPX and SSPV and CSVP do. They do not make their own rules, they follow Christs. How can you say that the modern Church is still as Christ established it? and if it isn't, then it isn't Christ's church. If it's not Christ's Church, it's not the Catholic Church. If it's not the Catholic Church, it doesn't have to be obeyed. St. Paul said to "hold fast to tradition." Have to obey him.
