Yeah, fairtex needs to (and has the capability to) hire some of the worlds best ground fighting instructors. If there's one thing that could really kindle a genuine interest in MMA in me - it'd be seeing Yodsaenklai fighting under MMA rules.

Its funny how quick people are to judge a fighting style in which they know very little about. The Thai's have created one of if not the most effective standing forms of combat without a weapon. Why would you so strongly doubt the effectiveness of the ground aspect ? Muay Boran was used in War Combat. Thai clinch is second to non. I would bet that they could learn to Best BJJ with modified Muay Boran Ground technique. these people have fighting in there blood. I look foward to the change.

THAI FIGHTERs wouldnt do that well in mma UNTIl they learnd the wrestling and the grappling they have NO interest in mma they want to do MUAY THAI and yes MUAY BORAN IS real ,nyway MAULIPET a muay thai champion fight in mma a couple times LOST to david douglous and quiet mma and then fought yodsonkli and LOST a close dicsion.

This is not great ground instruction. I would s*** myself if I saw Yod or Naruepol in MMA, but Fairtex needs to hire some top-notch submission wrestling/BJJ guys before that happens.
