I must say, out of all of Kentucky's rivals, I have the most respect for the Hoosiers.

I guess it's the fact that both UK and IU are similar in terms of tradition, fan support, quality of facilities, etc.

Purdue won a title in 1932 of some sort (there's a banner in Macky arena), predating the NCAA tourney. We also have a winning record against every big ten team historically (at least that's what wikipedia says). I know we still suck, but I'm good with it.

I don't know if the NCAA recognizes it, but Purdue claims a title for the year of 1932. There's a bunch of other teams that claim pretournament titles too. I know they havn't ever one the tourney, but I'll take a runner-up against a Lew Alcindor led UCLA after we beat them the first game of that season.
