I bought a G-DEC back in 2005. In the manual it said there would be periodic updates available, do you know of any? Can't seem to find any on Fenders site, thank you.
We used an M-audio Uno midi to usb plug, which has the drivers included with it. If you get a product such as this, be sure to check the OS support specs.
Would this amp suit hard rock/metal ?? I play an epiphone les paul. Saw one of these amps for half nothing second hand, and i'm tempted (cos i hate my limited roland cube 15x)
Yep you'll need a cable to move the midi track to the GDEC but to down load a Midi track you just right click on the midi link (don't click on it first) and choose the save option so you can download it to your computer - Scott
how would this amp be for gigging??

I've looked online, and this amp seems to be discontinued. At musiciansfriend it's discontinued, same at Amazon.

Yes, there are various amp models to craft tones with. You will have fun some of the metal-type backing tracks as well. Check it out!!
