  • Great knee bar set up. I learned that one from a sambo guy.

  • the whole purpose of kicking up is to get your knee free? So when you go over its just the below the knee that is trapped and easier to get free.

  • I don't like this pass personally but the reason you kick up is to make sure when you go over you have a base so he can't roll through. If just go over without you leg free leg bein out far enough he'll roll over you and get the sweep.
