Federer's been mindfucking Murray for Murray's entire career. He lets Murray win lil titles like masters, atp 500, etc against him, he even puts on a front of pretending to be actually sad/dissapointed about them after the loss, it's all to raise Murray's confidence only to crush it in the grandslams, but why you say? That's how Fed rolls... can't grasp his mind...
@gabe228 To be fair, a traffic cone with a tennis racquet taped to it would have probably ran Murray close in both of those finals. It's as much to do with Murray losing his game as it is with Federer raising his.
In Masters and the early stages of slams you see Murray playing unbelievable tennis, yet in his three slam finals he's been a bag of nerves.
Fine, slams are important and winning more matches is even more important. But, I believe that playing beautifully is most important and its "god-gifted talent". And only Federer has it. His game is soo elegant and its a pure eye-treat to watch this genius play.

Federer is one person whose game is elegant even when he hits that backhand in the net, there is a beauty in his play that comes across. Federer's play, regardless of him losing or winning, hitting unforced or no errors, is so graceful that it makes the persons day. Its like a good source of mental relaxation and artistic satisfaction.
@aidniymevoli He IS a lot better to watch playing than any other player, I'd have to agree with that. Seeing him hitting backhand after backhand out or into the net against Djokovic at the Australian Open this year was very depressing, however. His usual form, which you just described, wasn't very apparent.
@glarencez Yea, I kno he has most slams and good statistics. But, Im not a fan of him for those records. Its the beauty in his play thats fascinating. How can someone play so elegantly? Ahhhhh, his backhand just kills me! His movement on the court is like poetry in motion. I think he's just god-gifted!
