  • Some say this is a hoax because they chose to live this way because there are against the Oil Companies. And i agree with them if it's true!

  • Yeah, that's right, keep flying over them. There are only a certain amount of times that they can fly over them without an accident or plane crash happening. Stupid, leave them alone!!!

  • well played waldo

  • They kind of remind me Zergs from Starcraft..

  • they should get another helicopter to fly over and throw a bunch of shit down like some shirts and phones and or magazines and papers to show them what else is out there in the world.

  • me shoot down plane!! GRRR

  • @MistyxNight LOL!!!

  • They are in no way an 'uncontacted' people. In the pictures I saw at a news site (Wired magazine), when you zoomed in a bit, it was obvious there was an enameled pot sitting on the ground and a child holding a nice shiny machete. They've obviously had contact with someone from the outside. Of course we western 'civilized' people only see things in terms of ourselves. We didn't 'contact' them so they must be 'uncontacted'.

  • These people are no more than apes, they have not evolved

  • i hope its gonna stay that way ''uncontacted''....am sure they much better life then any of us .....one day we will see how much we destroyed a mother earth....but it will be late !!!

  • @mehito009 if we have the technology to destroy earth that means we have the technology to rescue it as well

  • i hope its gonna stay that way ''uncontacted''....am sure they much better life then any of us ...

  • It's pretty amazing when you think about it, especially with how connected our world is now with the internet. It kinds blows my mind that we can have people living on the same earth that could have completely different forms of communication.

It would be so cool to just find out how they interact with each other.

  • @robmundo not just that.. but they dont even know what a fork or anything looks liek XD not even a shirt, theyd freak in a city

  • Can someone explain how they can die from diseases much easier than us contacted people? I dont understand how, if they are in the middle of the forest, id think they would have already faced many diseases and are more immune to them than us urban folk. Thank you! :)

  • i seriously think these uncontacted tribes are the only humans that will survive the massive catastrophes our world is working its way to. We call ourselves "modern" and "conscious" but most of us are just saying it to make ourselves feel better about the terrible things were doing to the world we live in. these people are living in the truest sense and surviving too! so why can't we leave it at that, do we really have to force them to be like us? seriously are we that cruel?

  • they dont even look like humans they are red and black :)

  • thumbs up if u rolled down to the comments to see if this was a pop-up.

  • this may be dumb, but how were they able to make the clothes they were wearing

  • @BrettEarl well since they are uncontacted we do not know. Could be out of plants using a weave technique or animal skin cut with stone tools.

  • pray these human beings are left untouched by the corporations....

  • These people are isolated and may had no contact with modern people. But the know of us through trade and storys told my other tribes they trade with.

  • Fake! I know the anthropologist who lived for months in this tribe. Don't let be manipulated by the media. Currently, even the most isolated village isn't devoid of contact with the outside world.

  • Leave them! Let them live this life they want to live. Let other Indians today go back! I mean if they want. Because heck I do!

  • its the avatar people

  • Ignorance is bliss...

  • How many more times will we be subjected to this tyrade of insanity?

  • @whathappened020 ur an idoit indians means they are native to the land and have ben there the whole entire lenght of the tribe existing so next time u go and try to be smart think again cause ur not

  • i'd like to drop a carton of snicker bars over their village

  • I wonder if they eat themselfs.

  • this makes me want to download google earth and try to find more uncontacted tribes in the deepness of the jungle xD

  • "leave 'em! LEAVE 'EM!! leave 'em." that's what i'd say to any would-be traveler thinking of that tribe.

    lol

  • I'm still surprised we keep adapting to the miserable ways of life we live.

Some say that humans ability to adapt is one of it's strengths. I'm not so sure about that.

  • Again...agreed.

  • Incredible pics! A touch choice: what is more important: Knowledge or Contentedness? These people are obviously doing just fine, but the world has passed them buy. They have missed 10,000 years of societal and technological evolution.

    Would you WANT to know?

  • brutal savages kill poor christian missionaries?? who are the christian missionaries any way to enter their land and force their religion on them. can imagine how scared this tribe was to see a bloody helicopter or whatever..(big metal bird) lol yea leave em be!

  • i think no one should even try to contact them. the world should just leave them alone

  • taking pictures is one thing.. but if we try to contact them, they'll quite likely die. They're not immune to the pests we carry. The common cold or flu could very easily wipe them out. You are totally right. If we can't subtly let them know we're here, we should leave without another word. Privacy keeps them alive.

  • It's only a matter of time until they are pushed off their land, and they become explited and dispossessed like us, running the rat race of work, working 50+ hours a week just to put food on the table, can't afford health care while living in a highly polluted industrial nation, being fucked with by cops, made to conform to stupid laws and social obligations, I wish we could only live like they did once again....

  • Agreed.

  • i think we should try and find a good way of communicating with the tribes it would be GREAT just think they dont know about anything at all thats happening on earth they dont know about the technology we have to day NOTHING it would be so interesting to show them all that and educate them it would be like a dream for them. They think everyone else on earth are like them.

  • Actually, technology isn't so great. We live in a highly industrialized world which makes us prone to all sorts of cancers & illnesses, we're continuously being monitored in this surveillance society, laws are made up governing our lives without our approval, if we break said laws they are thrown in cages to rot, we have no land, live isolated atomized lives, can't afford to keep our bodies healthy in this heavily polluted mess, spend too much time working our lives away.

    It's not desirable.

  • @m0bi Thanks for ruining my day.

  • WTF we should jus leave them

  • i wonder what they thought the aircraft was

  • uhh even though this was 6 months ago they thought it was a bird

  • i say Alian xD

  • Alian? xD

  • Im refering to homeless peopl, statrving, destitute people living not just in third world countries but here in USA.

  • untill the world at large has the tools and the ability to solve the continuing problems of poverty and exploitation I believe they should be left alone, they arent really missing much. They do not know about cars and internet, and baseball, or rock and roll but so what, So many contacted people throughout the world are sleeping under the stars tonight as poor, dirty grimey uncared and unloved for citizens of an insane world, whty drag them out into the nightmare, let them be free!

  • Not heard about it being a hoax, where did you hear this? Would be interested to read up on that.

So you've never heard of cowboys and indians? Indians as in native americans, not folk from india.

  • @RamRay1234 I know I'm two years late, but whathappened020 is right about the Indian thing. The first people to come to the Americas from Europe were trying to get to Asia. When they came to the land, they assumed they had reached Asia, and since the native Americans looked like Indians, they thought they were in India. So saying "Indians as in native americans" makes no sense at all. No offence.

  • @RamRay1234 Theres no such thing as "Indians as in native americans" They aren't from India, so they aren't Indian. If you ask a government official, they will say it's politically incorrect and rude.

  • That's east indian not indian you shit lol

  • no you shit that's not east indian. People in India are Indians. These people are natives, not indians. I understand the general misconception, but that doesn't make it accurate.

  • What the fuck were you on when you made that comment? Even in North America they consider themselves Indians, the indians from india call themselves "East indians" here. East indians live in india you fucking moron.

  • I really don't have time to argue with an ignorant fucking bigot. Native Americans do not call themselves Indians. It is a misconception because Christopher Columbus, upon reaching America, was under the impression that he had found the western route from Europe to India. He called them Indians because he thought he was in India.

He did not call them "East Indians" because he didn't think he landed in "East India", dickhead.

No one is called an "East Indian" because there is no "East India".

  • Where in the fuck do you live? They call them "East indian" here in canada + You dont know shit about Native Americans calling themselves Indians unless you actually are Native

  • Ok, well here in America where things matter, no one is called an "East Indian".

As to the second part of your comment.....what? So if you're not Native American you know nothing about Native Americans? Whats the logic behind that? I know a lot about horses, so with your logic I must be a horse.

  • "I really don't have time to argue with an ignorant fucking bigot." Oh an American just what we fucking need right? You may know alot about them from books and things of such, but going to pow-wow's The ceremony for your indian name ect, I mean you have to experience it, its not all about knowing it or learning it from others...

  • goddamnit you're stupid. please dont ever migrate south.we dont want you here. It would take too long for me to explain everything that's wrong with what you just said. fuck off, this argument is done.

  • Shut the fuck up now.

  • good contribution after "fuck off, this argument is done."

  • If it's done then shut the fuck up.

  • Who asked for your opinion? and no thats ok i like the last word.

  • If it's done then shut the fuck up.

  • Wow, this is a month later i know. But you really are a dumbass man.

  • You honestly think i give a fuck about what you think? Shut the fuck up.

  • Hehehe, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • @whathappened020 your thinking of the video that was allegdly in papau which this one isnt.. this was taken by brazilian goverment mapping coordinated to protect the area

  • @whathappened020 rtard :D

  • @whathappened020 umad? yusomadbro?

  • What song is this?

  • The quiet song is The Frail by NIN; the other track (the rock one!) is Countdown To Extinction by Megadeth

  • What song is this?

It's really good!! (^.^)b (of course the rock song)

  • Doesn't look like they want to be 'contacted' by the way they are firing arrows at the chopper. Leave them be. We've messed up enough civilisations already.

  • What reason would anyone have to "contact" this tribe? To pass on our diseases to them? If they want to contact us,I'm sure they'll let us know.

  • They no longer have been "uncontacted" as it was made clear by the image of their attack stances. We may not have touched them physically but I can assure you, they felt contact from the aircraft above.

  • We should leave these people be. Don't interfere not even take pictures! Respect the litle real nature our earth still has. For earths sake. Thank you.

  • this pictures were taken in peru

  • The pictures were taken in the Brazilian state of Acre, which borders Peru.

  • I wonder if they have a social structure whereby those who do nothing are propped up by everybody else? Sound familiar?

The West could learn a lot from these tribes.

Or do they bung the profligate/lazy the odd rat or lump of flint to keep them quiet??

Vote Labour=a vote for those who give fuck-all.

  • didn't anyone film it?

  • hello,,,is there any relation betweens brazilians and indians...physically somewhat they are similar..in andoman nicobar islands there is one tribe called cantonines they r also uncontacted..they dont like outside ppl. but in the 2004 tsunami indian navy did a search and found many ppl still alive and many of them came out from jungle with bow and arrows and attacked the helicopter

  • First bishop of Brazil, Dom Pero Fernandez Sardinha was eaten by the caeté indians. They say it was some kind of eucharisty. They killed him first, he was not eaten alive.

I don't know exactly why the indians did not like him, maybe he wanted them to wear clothes.

Funny is that Sardinha means Sardine.

  • o! wow thats really cool. thx

  • there are red humans....?

  • No, they paint their bodies red with urucum a seed that is plenty in Brazil.

They paint parts of their bodies black with genipapo, a brazilian fruit.

There are brazilian fruits(jamelão)that leaves our mouth dark purple, I have them in the streets near my home, I used to eat them when I was a kid. They damaged a lot of clothes, the stain will not go away. I don't know if indians use this fruit also.

Urucum is used to make sunblocks and add color to food.

  • The plane that took the pictures had flown over the settlement earlier that day. By the time they came back to take the pictures most of the people in the tribe had fled into the jungle. The men who remained had painted themselves red and armed themselves with the bows as a show of aggression.

  • What?

Man living in harmony with nature?

Everyone relax, they'll put a stop to that shit quick.

  • CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST!! hehe

  • CBGBRIP , i guess you are just either five years old or just mentaly ill. comments like yours make me want to hire people to track you down and beat the shit out of you!

i think we should leave them all alone, let them live the lives they have. safe from the world we know.

  • That tribe will now have a legend about a giant bird. It's like a UFO or something for them.

I hope no one makes contact with them...as soon as they meet "alcohol" there fucked.

  • que buena¡¡¡¡¡

  • leave them alone. all christian missionaries need to stfu. leave these solitary people in peace. they are beautiful.

  • Oh you know it, missionaries are already on the way.

Then you'll be reading all about how the first one got an arrow right between his eyes.

BRUTAL SAVAGES KILL POOR CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES!!!

    Details at eleven.

  • Interesting. They are most likely the last tribe on the planet living in peace. Let's leave them that way.

  • Theres actually around 100 tribes left untouched. Most of them are in the Amazon.

  • the black one looks like an alma

  • I wonder if contact will ever be made with them. Pretty cool.

  • they tried shooting the plane, as they thought it was a bird and when they saw humans they his womn under stuff eg. logs and that so they could not steal them haha a saw it on news lmao

  • this is so depressing

  • not a nin fan then? if you mean the music's depressing you might prefer the other version i've posted up on youtube - same video but different soundtrack

  • 1:48 hahahahahahaha

That music took sooooo much away from the whole sentimental feel.

  • I can understand why you say that but it was put in to prove a point - the lyrics add to the message at the end, so despite it not fitting with the ambience before it, its there for a reason. but thanks for watching and for your opinion

  • Wow. After looking back at that comment, I realize that it looks a bit insensitive and obnoxious. Sorry if it seemed that way, and thanks alot for the well-mannered reply.

  • its ok, i did wonder whether or not to put it in for that very reason

  • quite right, their existence should be respected

  • these are fantastic photos

  • indeed they are - amazing to think that people still live this way, seemingly unaware of the modern world that surrounds them.

  • whats to stop do gooders from entering the habitat of these people now that their existance has been hi lighted ??????

  • very true - its a question of ethics i suppose. i hope these photos are the closest the modern world gets to them. but i think it was brought to people's attention because of logging in the area creating a real danger for these tribes, so maybe now their existence has been highlighted more people will want to help preserve it. this certainly brought the issue to my attention but like you say, it could lead to greater risk of interference with their habitat should anyone go searching for them.
