@brodank it's called a cover version. that's when a band plays a song written by another band. it's actually pretty common and in fact OCMS wrote the verses but the chorus is a "cover version" of a bob dylan song. knowing bob dylan it's probably originally by someone else. AND THAT'S OK.

The original is by Bob Dylan and Jay Secor. It is a true testament to them as musicians and songwriters that subsequent bands have covered this tune and are still able to put their own musical interpretation into it and have it still be music and not simply a carbon copy regurgitation of the original, masquerading as tribute.
