It's always so shocking when videos from the '70s depict that certain twinkle in the eye along with a vacant smile that's so obviously due to cocaine use.
does anyone have the semonski sisters singin "Windy" by the association. Loved welk's comment at the end "Windy" a popular song of the younger generation
Funny, I used to hate this show when my grandparents watched it incessantly (they used to record the reruns on VHS tapes in the 1980's), but when I heard this group from elsewhere in the house, I'd always run in to see Audrey...
One sister has a retainer in her mouth. I had one of those things and they are so annoying, you feel like you have a mouth full of peanut butter. And the oldest sister is probably around 51 now.
I think they are good! I usedto watch them when I was a teenager. The one inthe middle was my age. She and the other sister got braces soon after they sang here. I would like to see how they turned out as adults the baby is probably 40 now, the oldest may be around 55
My grandmother was soft as a grape at the end and catatonic. This shit was the only thing that snapped her out of it enough to turn her head. What a great memory, thanka you Mr welk letsa boogaloo tilla we puke.
My favorite (when I was a kid) was Audrey too. I think she is the one in the middle top. Liked Michelle too. She was the young one on the bottom. My 2nd favorite group behind the Lennon Sisters.
I liked Audrey, too. The group had a great sound. I loved their versions of Apple Blossom Time, The Other Side of the Mountain, and the Trolley Song. They did a good job with the harmonies in the Trolley Song (especially on the clang, clang, clang part)......don't ask me why I remember all this....considering that I don't remember what I had for dinner yesterday! Does anyone have any more Semonski sister videos? These videos bring back lots of great memories. Thanks for sharing them.
why is the cound all fucked up on every one of their clips?

Talented and cute as heck. The mixture of Polish and Irish influences is clear in the faces and totally charming.
