Is it any midi keyboard is possible? Because I have a yamaha PSR-E423, but I cant seem to connect it to transfer a recording to a desktop computer. Will it be able to connect with garageband on ipad or mac bk straightaway without installing a cd?

does garageband plays the sounds from ur keyboard or plays the sounds from garageband

Hi, maybe you can help me out. I have a Casio CTK-720 keyboard that I just purchased, tried exactly how you did in the video to get it working with garage band and no luck. Apple was no big help when I called they told me to go into Audio MiDI setup and nothing helped get it going there. I called Casio and they said we don't support Macs at all. Any advise would be great. Thanks

@zivaray If you output through the headphone jack and into the mic input on your computer, you can record straight from the keyboard without using it as a midi :D

@zivaray plug a lead into your keyboards headphone jack and the other end into your "line in" input on your computers sound card. You might need an adapter.
