@kawasakikid800 so u can actually do it hands on.shits annoying using the mouse and it makes mixing beats alot funner too.get a midi controller for about $70 at guitar center.no need for expensive hardware if ur just starting.youll find that u can actually do almost as much as the expensive hardware on the midi controllers.

I'm not gonna say it doesn't matter at all coz that would be a lie, but the part it does play is miniscule and can be easily made up with talent. Some of the worlds most talented producers use it and some don't, it's a matter of taste.

Also try using the spectroman plugin on the main master channel and change the view to waves.... this helps in mixing individual sounds to certain Hz as well... good video.
