He's friend was Saku Koivu, and yes he made it :), Atm he's playing in Anaheim with Teemu himself!. He used to be the captain in Montreal Canadians, and he is probably loved from all the fans.

I was going to say i hope his friend made it but this was 2 years ago so doing the math he mostlikely didnt and i feel very badly for Teemu and ne1 who loses a loved 1 or a best friend to cancer b/c its just terrible. im so glad tht he scored tht hat trick tht was definetlydone for a reason. hes been one of my fav b/c of his on ice play and now more for his off ice character. im so glad ive got and old mighty ducks jersey w/ his autograph. ur the man teemu!

lol it wasn't Koivu. Saku Koivu returned to play in 2002 and has been cancer-free ever since. This was another friend of Teemu's.
