shouldn't touch 'em yeah, sharks don't follow those rules either. least he didn't spear it. Hawaii may pass a law that turtles may be hunted once again.. now THAT sucks, they'll be lucky if they're just annoyed by being touched...

Turtles are the swans of the ocean. It is sad you felt like you had to touch them and ride them. In Hawaii its considered harassment to push your way into their lives. In fact, Dolphins and Turtles in Hawaii and the way this video shows they are desiring not to be so close to you would land you a ticket and possible jail time... swim with them and respect this dance they share with us... they invite you into their world.
We swim with them everyday, they come circling and interacting freely

Come on 1st poster. Turtles are not harmed by swimmers. I'm a rescuer. If you want to help stop harassing video makers and get out there. Donate to a nest adoption fund. Or babysit a nest against real threats, I.E. Cars, racoons, crabs, beatch destruction, ECT.These videos get people interested. Intrested people learn. that's good.

err, you're not supposed to touch sea turtles. the main reason they were ever endangered was because of humans harassing or hunting them. apparently the oils of our skin create the sea turtle equivalent of cancer when they come into contact with their bodies. i don't mean to sound like some kind of nature freak or as some kind of snob, but i too have swum with sea turtles, and it's an experience that i truly value.

this is just so unfair :D when I had the chance to do this, the sea turtle didnt cooperate and thought that the best for her will be to swimm very fast away :D and I couldnt even touch her. Ofcourse I didnt wanna stress her or anything I admire these animals I have to say Iam a bit of envyous because you have such an amazing memories and adventure. This one never forgets :) they are beautyful
