This is blasphemy. Derek Prince teaches the heresy of universal atonement.

The bible teaches that Christ's death ensures and demands the salvation of ALL those whom he represented.

Jesus said in John 10:15:

"I lay down my life for the sheep"

He did not die for those who perish in hell, he died for the elect, his sheep.

Matthew 1:21

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for HE SHALL save HIS people from their sins.

Your error is that you have not thought about the fact that these are still sheep.

Christ laid down his life for the sheep, not sheeps and goats.

So the passage in John 10:15 that I quoted was in perfect context.

Jesus said in John 10:15:

"I lay down my life for the sheep" and then in John 10:16 he talks about the other sheep, (the elect Gentiles).

Your error is to speak of , I quote you, "the elect Gentiles". Jesus laid down His life for all sheep. It's not so easy for me to discuss it further, unless you accept to do it in French.

i dont think he preaches universal atonement,i may have issues with him a regards to spirtual warfare,he preaches the gospel. john 2v2 and he is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. but we know the whole world is not going to be saved

you are right. derek doesnt preach universal salvation. i have read many of his books and heard his messages on tapes and i am sure of his position with regards to salvation. salvation is by faith alone not of works we have done. Derek Prince believes that RIGHTEOUSNESS is imputed to anyone who will acknowledge what he has done on the cross. salvation is a gift offered to anyone but only those who will believe and repent will receive this grace of God.

Every person who trusts in him. What does this mean? This does not mean universal atonement.. I think he makes it very clear at the beginning. Don`t be so generous with terms like heresy I think its very clear from the beginning of the video what is ment. And English is even not my mother tongue.

You're wrong. First, on calling Derek Prince's teachings heresies. And second, on saying that Christ did not die for all.

"For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all..."

2 Cor. 5:14,15.

Chirst shall save His people, yes, but His death is for all who will come to Him - is this not this the message of the Gospel?

I am set in defense of the gospel.

The message of the gospel is how Christ saved His people from their sins, and how that the death of Christ demands and ensures the salvation of all those whom he represented.

The gospel is about an accomplished salvation, not a potential saviour for men with free wills to choose.

Salvation is conditioned entirely on the atoning blood and imputed righteousness of Christ alone.

Indeed, salvation is conditioned by the Blood of Jesus Christ, and righteousness comes from Him alone. However, you are not scripturally correct to say that salvation of a soul depends only the Cross - God's salvation does me no good unless I recieve what he has done.

"He came to His own, and his own recieved Him not. But AS MANY AS RECIEVED HIM, to them He gave the power to be the sons of God."

John 1:11,12

And, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Rom 10:13
