  • I must say...I rather love you.

  • Mr. GOHI11101995. Dont suffer more and just kick the guy outta the band. He would have to be born again to sing properly dude. Lets accept it. theres people that are born with it, other who arent :/ now, if you wanna be patient and wait 3 years so he can take lessons, then fine, keep him!

  • Dude just needs to learn the notes of the song. In other words, he needs to actually LISTEN to the song before singing it. Trust me--it helps. Otherwise, I think he's got the range to sing it. Songs with a lot of runs, a.k.a. Mariah Carey songs are especially difficult to get the intonation correct because of all of the zipping up and down of the chords during the runs. I don't see how she does it.

  • Yes, you are right!

But! l have band, my singer have problem with intonation! he listen that song all day, but he can`t sing song...Sry for bad english

    Plz Help me!

    TNX

  • My best friend is a Voice major and we're in our college concert choir.I really wanna be a singa an' I give it my all in choir. She tells me I have the pitch I jes need t'work on intonation.I'd love to master it.

  • This is great. One day I am going to send you a video as a case study. It will be fun. God Bless... cyulove

  • you need to sing from yours stomach now i learning that

  • the kid with the p cap cant sing

  • correction, he can't sing yet...with passion, there's no telling where he'll go :)

  • but he aint getting the tone..he idont know how u call it...tuning?i dont know how it is in english..he desafina.

  • True he's not hearing the intervals fully, But I don't think he's tone deaf because he's some what close to the pitches. It will take a lot of work, but if he does it.. it will be great!

  • yes he can do it if he works hard. everyone can;) think he got to sing being more relaxed and all that stuff..and thing like lalala and stuff like that before he sings a song....that will help him with the tones, etc...thats what he needs.

  • hey bellon i know its been a while but i just made another clip of me singing i hope its not as bad as my first clip haha

  • Nice work.

  • can you check my videos and tell me your opinion about my singing?

  • hey bellon i think i got my pitch down or at least better or at least in the 75% range can you take a look at my other video and tell me if im on or off

  • Ok post it and I will check it out!

  • does vocalizing help harded the cartilage?

  • The only thing that does that is time

  • i have to give you a big thanks by the way for helpin me out it seems that i was trying to learn the more advance things before i had a good grip on the basics

  • No worries. I always say DON'T BE FOOLED. We are living in the days of the Untrained professional. When you compare artist today to artist of the last century it's a joke. Nowadays artist slip by on good looks and just pure talent. They no nothing of studying a score or researching music.

  • Let me tell you a little know fact. The voice doesn't fully develope until the age of 30!!! Because the cartilage in the voice box doesn't fully harden until then. The years prior to 30 should be spent growing as a musician and learning the craft. That's why we have so few one hit wonders... they were never musicians to begin with.

  • cartilage in the voice box?

  • the voice box is cartilage

  • Wow.If only so many singas an' aspirin' singas knew that. They sure wouldn't even try a cigarette or alcohol.

  • and on your exercise on tuning the gutair how would i know for sure that im not starting off on a flat or sharp note and finding notes in between that

  • That is not the important part of the 'tuning'. The idea is to sharpen your ear. Singing is just as much HEARING as it is PRODUCING sound. You need to practice listening and breaking down those intervals.

  • and whats the difference between being off key and staying on tune

  • they are basically the same thing... when we think about it in a 'slang'... But you have to think of the big picture. Imagine a bulls-eye; the closer you get to the middle red dot the better.

  • so does understanding intonation mean that i have to follow the correct version of the song or can i create my own type of intonation

  • not really, as you listen to 'professional singers' you will hear that they make alterations to the pitches. That is fine and sometimes great BUT you have to make sure you have to have the Basic's first. I would start with easier songs. Work on singing completely on pitch first...Then look at changes.
