mochipet was fucking amazing live. i love how many influences his music has, electro, dubstep, breakbeat, glitch, and the list goes on. he knows how to get people jumpinn
Every Mochipet video I've seen has a huge argument in the comments about what genre he is. WHO CARES what genre it is! Do you like the music? Great! Listen to it and shut the hell up about what slot we should put him in!
Everyone is so concerned with these microgenres and every song has to fit in some rigidly defined category. Can it be influenced by the dirty distortions and low bass grooves of dubstep, while incorporating the randomness of glitch and the overall heaviness of breakcore? These aren't genres, they're subgenres. The genre is electronic music. And by the way, 90% of the people that hear this would call it techno, along with anything by aphex twin, kraftwerk, and even some stuff from madonna.
@Mrbigpiggie This is no techno, rtard. Techno has thin bass and shitty drum effects, and hasn't changed since the 1970's. This is Glitchstep. A completely new genre, learn some shit.
@HUY0005 I heard a techno song that had bass in it. Also go fuck yourself you miserable retard. I don't listen to this stuff often to know what its called. And you don't have to curse me out to realize this. I already got a response saying "this is not techno it's dubstep"
@BLKSHPMILITIA The original track is Mashall Bass Stacks, which is recorded at 140bpm, the drum pattern is consistent with dubstep. i'm from The USA, Ohio. why do you ask?

@Mrbigpiggie
It's not techno, it's dubstep.
Also, the track that isn't N.E.R.D. is Mochipet - Mashall Bass Stacks. Just in case anyone wondered.
