When running the interstate with a report of ppl trapped, our rescue assignment is one Engine responding northbound, one Engine responding southbound, a ladder truck, a Rescue Squad, an ambulance, a medic unit and a Battalion Chief.

@racinjason88 Why do they Need a Ladder truck and Engine can they just sent a Rescue Squad from southbound and Engine from northbound?

We send the two closest Engines first, one NB and one SB to investigate and the Ladder Truck to block the area off and assist the Rescue Squad.
