I know a easier way how to make this pattern... it's 13*times to you and 13*times from you, with the cards. (with this mode I think it's going' faster - I make about 40-48 cm in Hour the same pattern) But you have to set the lines correctly, otherway's it wont work. :-) But nice work indeed.
I am not sure I understand the question. There are some more videos at youtube about this, search for "tablet Weaving". There are a lot of tablet weaving at internet, use google for searching.
Or do you mean more pattern woven like this one? I have designed a lot of pattern like this but the most explanations are in Swedich, only some parts are tranlated to Englich.
There are also a couple of pages at Yahoo that diskuss tablet weaving.
No, this do not take long time, in the video it is the very slow demonstrating speed, slow motion. When people look at me weaving in the real life the most common thing they say is, "thats go really fast". I think I make about 30 cm per houer at this band. That is mutch faster then I do tatting, I think you still have to say that tatting is slow.
