How good is the Tiger? I'm thinking about buying one that's two or three years old and the guy selling it said that there's no difference between it and the newest ones because Triumph got it right when it first came out. Is that true, no difference?

P.P.S. Maybe kind of a stupid question, but ... how well do these Tigers do in heavy down pours? I hate it with all my past bikes that they'd sputter and sometimes even go dead. Do these Tigers manage heavy rain OK?
I have a Triumph Scrambler and I am totally over it. Looks neat, but I want a bike that I can ride someplace further than 15 miles away. I'm ready for a Tiger.

Idiots like that usually doesn't even have a license to drive motorcycles and most times have ever driven one. But it's all about smiling and letting them learn for themselves. Ride a bike like this and you'll never look back.
