I'm American, and prefer association football to American football, but I checked, and apparently there's an "IFAF World Championship of American Football".
@BeccaWei25331 But it isn't successful due to the lack of interest for American Football. Like baseball, football is usually a nation sport only recognized by the nation and played by the nation. USA and Canada are the (only) two nations who like football.
@topownedbutgf Germany, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Norway etc. Are all countries that would easily afford to play American football and don't play Rugby. Your comment makes it seem as if you feel Football is a cheap sport. Even though it is the richest sport on earth and in big leagues like Italy's, Spain's and England's players could be paid up to £200,000 a week. Sorry if you didnt mean football was cheap, but American Football is only USA.
Real football = A sport that uses combinations of skill, teamwork, and physical ability.
American football = A sport that uses physical ability.
Real football wins by a long shot. You could easily train a very athletic pro soccer player to be at least a D1 college American football player in 1yr with no previous experience. The same could not be said for the opposite. It would be impossible to train some one in real football that quickly no matter their athleticism.
@gringofreestyler You clearly know nothing about american football if you think it dosent take skill and teamwork and im pretty sure if they had an entire year of training there are plenty of players who could play college soccer just as many as could switch from football to soccer
@gringofreestyler so if you're saying american football doesn't include team work or skill, i'd like to tell you that if one man decides not to block the play is ruined. if one man does the wrong play the play is ruined...and skill? it takes a LOT of skill to play i mean lineman is one of the most physical spots to play every play you're getting hammered and fighting back. plus you need to be able to squat at least 450 in order to play there. running backs have speed, agility, and reactions.
im tired of this no other country plays our type of football because most all other countrys cant afford it the uk can but they have the european tradition of soccer and they have rugby which i would find scary to play
lol wat can i say..we love soccer but we still r american and you wont find 2 many americans who loves JUST soccer like me socer is my all around fav sport but i love basketball and football somewat so yea GOD BLESS AMERICA
@bigbirdgrappler60 There is a National USA Am. Football team?? didnt even know there was international Football, probably USA beat just about every team just about every time cuz no one really cares...
lots of catching with the arms in the beginning, now how the hell can you call that sport football, it does not involve your feet nor a ball, a ball is round.

On another note, forget the Seahawks like the announcer said, they should strap pads on and play for the Raiders, they could use the help.

@bigbirdgrappler60, really ?
These teams must be invisible.
There are a couple teams.
But I've never seen one.
Seeing a baseball field is even rare.
Most of the big cities do have one basketball team.
