In America we have something called "political correctness." Children are not allowed to view or hear "naughty" words even though they hear it 100x a day at school, etc. There's a beilef that if we can somehow prevent them from knowing the existence of such words, they will grow up to be good people. It's not just CBS, it's literally illegal on to use many words on broadcast networks, and the FCC can charge you millions for violations. That's why he even has to keep the number of times he says "penis" on the show below a certain number per night.
