That stormtrooper mask totally reminded me of The Shocker on the old WWF. Look it up. One of the funniest failed attempts at a new wresting character ever attempted. Actually, most of the people who are really harsh on this concert clip (the same types that say the same things all the time about reunited bands) are pretty unrealistic. GNR never sounded great live. Axl's voice has always been impossible for him to duplicate live. Even Slash screwed up from time to time & sounded thin live.

You could tell by the yellow jacket, that this was going to be either great or terrible, and with the opening scream, or what was supposed to be a scream, you already know how the rest will sound like. I don't know exactly how it works for singers who sing with scratchy voices, but Axl's voice is very hit or miss.
