In the movie, he was the one puppy that almost died at birth, after a while trying to get him back, he survived, and Roger and Anita decided to name him Lucky.

Lucky is names lucky because of his horsehoe markings, its Cadpig which was the stillborn that was revvived back to life, its also in the dvd extras

I luved this show so much! Hard to believe it will be 10 years since it debuted in September.The reason why the pups aren't wearing their collars is because in the series Cruella is always trying to steal the Dearley's farm and she was holding Lucky,Rolly,and Cadpig as ransom and she mailed their collars for proof.
