ive seen alot of dances that had more time and looked horrible because they werent in sync but with only 3 weeks this looks amazing all the dancers know what they are doing
it wasn't hard choreography but since it was a short amount of time to put it together they did well. it's better simple and clean choreography then sloppy hard choreography :) Every dancer argee's on that.
you're not like dancers, ur like having a fashion show just walking around the stage, you didn't even use your arms...when you dance, use all parts of your body..and use some space...but the gilr in black in the near end is good!
i really like the choreography but i think some dresses and nice black outfits for the guys would've looked better it looks a lil messy in street clothes and doesn't give the same emotion
Good. Sorta. YOU HAVE ARMS!!!!!! NOT JUST FEET!!!!! AND YOU HAVE A WHOLE STAGE!!!!!!! I think you need to work on using your spcae better, not repeating so much, and use your arms. But the timing was outstanding!
completly agree with iowaelite. i love how it is simple. sometimes u see shows that are too over done and take away from the messege. and so wat if the coreography wasnt the hardest stuff in the world. id much rather see a clean together show that see a difficult sloppy one. i love it. and the "walking around" could be walking with a purpose, walking to convey passion. over all i love it and i would have galdly participated
I like the use of levels in the composition of your dancers and the staccato and release of the movement that compliments the music effectively. Many pieces I've seen to this music rely too much on the strong downbeat or it's too flowy and then it becomes to look monotonous.
So I get a little tired of people commenting on this saying that the choreography should have been harder.
A. You don't know the dancers
B. You don't know the time restraint
We did an entire evening of music and dance and put the whole thing together in about 3 weeks. NO the choreography couldn't have been harder because there was no time. Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks!
i think you guys danced really well and worked with what you were given- however whoever choreagraphed this could have made the moves much harder. You guys all look like amazing dancers and I thought that you definately could have handled harder choreagraphy. BUT I did love :27-:33, that was really cool.
