Honestly, it's the ethnocentrism of white Christian Americans that destroys the potential unity of foreign peoples. America's imperialism abroad brought the reaction of 9/11. Justified? Absolutely not. understandable? I think so. If you were not so scared of others to delve into their religious texts, you would find more similarities than differences. Rejection of studied ideas is acceptable, denial of their possibility is not.
