I appreciate the work gone into that engine, and the car itself, but this video really doesn't show it off. Sounds and looks like a 2-stroke diesel tractor or something, not a performance car ;)
@multi So you think a 2.0 turbo petrol can beat this thing? You have no idea... I've owned 3 Nissan 200sx's 2 of them where 290ish bhp from a 2.0 turbo and one was a 2.5 straight 6 turbo about 310bhp and this golf would eat the ass off any of them! I've seen it go in person! Lol And this isn't running anywhere near standard turbos or fuelling either!
i pulled the turbo out of a mk3 1.9td and dropped it in my mk3 2L gti and it def pulls harder than this thing, i can spin them wheels in third and i couldnt spin my aftermarket 16's in 2nd before the turbo. these turbos are great but volkswagen diesel isnt the car to buy anymore.
@ZEDROGANA you can see the car is powerful, if it has 450bhp or not it's irrelevant. It's a mk3 Golf TTDI! Look at the size of them wheels, the inertia is horrible but it still spun and pushed hard! i run 225/45 18 in my car and the power loss was quite noticeable, that's why i added the chip and air filter. On stock wheels, it spins in 3rd, on these... it just runs good, nothing else.
I need as much info as you can get me on this car. I'm building a 1.9 compound Turbo setup as well and would like to know about the fitment and timing of the pump

There is not much that isn't modified.Turbo's are gt35 and gt40 from 4 and 6 cyl Hino engines the Injection pump is from a 3.9L cummins.
