i just got these today because my old running shoes started giving me shin splints.

a running shoe doesnt have to look used and worn out before you replace it. when you feel the discomfort or dont think your getting the proper support you should change it up.

@devilsfan964 but the real question is why would u need some thing to absorb the heel strike when a heel strike is not how your suppose to run watch the reebok commercial for the shoes it actually shows that you should heel strike because "a way of energy is sent thought out your feet" from the heel to ur toes and if you want shoe that performs similiar get theUnder Armour Illusion Stability Running shoes its has better heel support, lighter, and it guides/propel your feet for more efficent run

The heel strike absorbs the energy, and sends that wave of energy through the foot propelling you forward. What a bunch of bullshit, this shoe is all hype and just looks high tech. At the end of the day this shoe is doing as much as a shoe you would find in the bargain bin at walmart except with flashy colors a kind of cool looking design and a reabok logo slapped on it.
