Unfortunately, we only judge singers by their God-given voice, (throat) which serves as a musical instrument, like a Rubab, for instance. Who do you think is more skillful at playing Rubab: a person with a best rubab but little training, or a person with an average Rubab with years of training with various teachers and many classes in music theory? I rest my case.

Are you just being argumentative to prove no point, it is OK to admire H. Salim, but it is not OK, to deny the fact that he has had no schooling in music. Just buying a harmonium and practice with friends on weekends is not enough.

This is one of his best performances. Now that he has gray hair, he can sing no better than what he did 30 years ago. What a shame! No improvements.
