@moahnass Wow. I'm sure there are lots of people in that situation. And, if you're one of them, my heart really goes out to you. But I was trying to tie the special moments I've enjoyed over the years with my daughter with the Folgers brand. For some, they really connect with that. Hard to please everybody.

I've already chatted with you on FB, Tim, but I'll formally post up on yor vid. Amazing sounding jingle, really well done video clip! Great singing, melody, performing, everything. I can't imagine what the Folgers folks were smoking to allow them to pass on this jingle (maybe they smoke Folgers coffee beans) but if you say they have, then we believe ya ;) Well, Tim, you definitely deserve to win or at least be semifinalist, not only are you a talented performer but a heck of a nice guy too!

loved it but until the end, coffee wasn't part of it..should have had daddy sipping his first cup with baby girl in mama's lap...having a cup to go with you at graduation..etc.. always showing you drinking folgers :)..anyway good job tho...the band is great!

@erickacorban Hi Ericka. Yes, I read them multiple times. And I've read multiple threads of discussions online about the interpretation of them. Unfortunately, they weren't very specific about what "background tracks" were and a person that spoke to someone at Folgers confirmed that the use of a recorded track was ok. So I feel like my entry followed the rules as specified. However, I could be completely wrong. I really wish Folgers would've been more specific about what was allowed.

By the way, I don't just mean that it's pretty pictures and sounds. It is really interesting musically and lyrically, and has a great narrative hook that runs from beginning to end.

My only suggestion is that you need to enunciate the line "the best part of being a dad" a little more. I kind of sounds like you're singing "the best part of bein' dead." That's hardly worth mentioning, but I had to do something to keep from feeling like calling Folgers and saying never mind about my entry. :)
