We must understand the the U.S., and even the whole Western Hemisphere, was built off racism through either slave labor (Free Labor) or extremely cheap labor. Think about it: Africans slaves, Native workers, Asian migrant workers, Latinos, Southern and Eastern Europeans (although they were able to assimilate and later benefit from white privilege, etc) played a tremendous role in providing labor for relatively nothing. This is the same approach after WW2 in the Western European nations.

I'm not trying to sound racist but I don't understand why so many whites are constantly irate about something or someone when they have been the perpetrators throughout history. Blacks, Asians, Latinos (non-white), Native Americans, Maori, Australian Aborigines, Jews (they're white too), Jesus Christ, etc all have a valid reason for hating white people yet whites are the ones that harbor the most hate towards their fellow man. As funny as Bill Burr is, it frightens me just how ignorant and racist the comments on this video are. Apparently, many white people (I'm white) feel that this skit justifies their own racist beliefs.
In this modern time, none of us necessarily have to feel "guilt" for what happened in our country in the past as we weren't there. Justifying it by any means, however, is unforgivable. There is no justification for 400 years of institutionalized slavery.

It frightens me how little this generation knows about World History, and the importance of slavery towards the construction of the earth, the only difference is that the christian Anglo-saxons incorporated Racism into the slavery of Africans :(

We must understand the the U.S., and even the whole Western Hemisphere, was built off racism through either slave labor (Free Labor) or extremely cheap labor. Think about it: Africans slaves, Native workers, Asian migrant workers, Latinos, Southern and Eastern Europeans (although they were able to assimilate and later benefit from white privilege, etc) played a tremendous role in providing labor for relatively nothing. This is the same approach after WW2 in the Western European nations.

I hate it when people say "Oh, I had nothing to do with it." Hell, I had nothing to do with the genocide of Native Americans but when I work some of my taxes go to them at their reservations. I'm black and my ancestors had nothing to do with that. However, if my country sees it fit to rectify past ills by granting them money so that they can get on their feet and send their children to college then I'm all for it because I want to trust the decisions of my country.

We need to remember that the Civil Rights movement happened only 46 years ago. Many of the people that were throwing rocks at black people are still alive and living in the same country with us. South African apartheid only ended about 17 years ago.

I have always agreed with his point that he has made in this comedy act. First of all, I am in no way racist. But, I am tired of hearing about how great someone is for being a minority and doing something that minorities normally don't. I mean, African-Americans are just as capable of participating in a sport as say whites. The reason that you don't see as many blacks participating in sports and such is because they're a MINORITY. That is why. There are less of them. Whites are the US' majority.
