  • @Nickkieg6 Lomu was the first real superstar of the game, that's why he's brought up so much, just like ray Lewis is often brought up in regards to tackling. Some other players that are decent quick big blokes. Mamuka Gorgodze, Matt Banahan, Alesana Tuilangi, Sonny Bill Williams, Tony Williams, Leslie Vainikolo, Pierre Spies, Manu Vatuvai, Dave Taylor, Greg Inglis, Radike Samo.

  • i'm playing Rugby ... I Love ittt :* :* :* :* it's best sport everrr

  • @MrRhysssss if the NFL didn't wear pads everyone would be dead we have much stronger guys put them up with the rugby pussies and we would eat every single on of the them

  • thats football americans this how we play we do wear pussy pad our bones r our pads

  • 0:11 WHAT AN AWESOME SUPPORT BY NUMBER 13 ON TACKLE!

  • Is it only me who hate single minded Americans?

  • More people die in AF because they all just fly in like giant reckless meatheads with no control or proper technique. Any rugby player could run circles around football player and still put them on their ass.

  • lol american football is rugby with padding on

  • OMG !!

do you call this sport ?? O_o

they must go to WWE and face John Cena :D

  • all the AF supporters all use the same argument " more people die in AF". sport is meant to be a game not a war

  • Read and weep Americans .. what you call football, we do without the pads :] .... pussies..

  • @ReactArts

i like rugby too, but id like an explanation as to why you and so many other people feel like ripping on other sports that i think are just different. personally i like football and i think its fun. So please give me a reason why i shouldnt think you should go fuck yourelf.

  • @doza2112 AF by it's nature is more of a collision sport than Rugby, there are an avaerage of 1000-1200 per game. From the mid 1870's to the early 1900's there were 15-30 deaths per year. In 1906 the sport was nearly banned, this led to rules changes and the use of equipt.

  • song?

  • whats the name of the song

  • Learn how to make a video good hits and that but they went way too fast

  • Pls note that those hits are rugby league ones, and that they are nearly all forbidden in rugby union (shoulder charges mostly)

  • @ericmarseille2

im pretty sure the tackle law in both league and union is the same?

    and union ftw!!!!

  • QUE ESPORTE IDIOTA!! ; /

  • Football is for pussies. Both of them.

  • Not the best sport in the world, I much prefer karate.

  • @Dimitri0809 karate isn't a sport, its martial arts :L

  • @IPeZProductioNZz

Yea but it's still played like a sport.

  • Rugby League > Union

  • LOL i love rugby

  • Notice how a lot of them tackles aren't even legal!

  • 1:38 is that even rugby?!

  • whats the name of the song?! anyone?! please?!

  • Comment removed

  • @boomerblink182 'not the same'-Bodyjar

  • football is for pussies

  • god i love rugby! cambridge high first 15 for the win!!!

  • just watching this - then watch american football with all their Armour - Americans are fags :)

  • @TechHelpTom - Really!? Have you ever played the sport? Have you ever been hit by a 380 - 420 Lb Lineman that run's 4.4 Sec in fully armour!? You'll cry in your little panties. Go put your little daisy shorts on and play with your friends. Freak!!!

  • bloody hell that first one was frightening :P

  • @TheFregster - UK Fucks are pussies!! You call this hard hits?

  • The r all great hits, but the reason they're all so huge is coz the man with the ball has either just been given a hospital pass or they're running into contact too high

  • wooooow these hits are nothing like the ones on a football feild. if a rugby player put football pads on and played middleline backer they team he was on would shut out every team they played. what a sport!!!

  • These "hardest hits" are....normal hits for the NFL.

  • @mmendel46 because they stop every minute for a break whereas in rugby you have to run non stop for 80 minutes

    your logic is flawed

  • @mmendel46 except they're covered in pillows

  • @mmendel46 lol NFL have padding.

  • @cokeangle1993 Yea... but there Not Much Different over all other than the Fields.

  • @cokeangle1993 - Rugby only tackles the player with the ball. Now thats the biggest joke.

  • @TheVegaschamp lol atleast they dont hide behind all those paddin and helmets...

  • @cokeangle1993 - And that is suppose to make you tougher and Smarter?? Your a fucking Joke retard!!You sound like a pussy talking shit about a sport he wouldn't dare play. Go play something you can handle. Stick to your rugby Momma's boy!!

  • @TheVegaschamp U Mad Bro? lol im not talkin *shit* about a sport i dnt play .wernt u talkin shit about a sport you dnt play in the first place? i will stick to my rugby and yes i do love my *momma*

    twat.

  • @cokeangle1993 - Actually, I'm a rugby player and a Football player. So go suck on your mom tits and cry about your lack of ahleticism..Sorry ass fuck!!

  • @TheVegaschamp your a rugby player ? and ur talkin shit about rugby? lol some ppl i dnt get.

  • whats the song?

  • how's the name of the song in the background?

  • i thought i was watching a hard hits video...

  • This is so awesome, nicely compilated.

    Name of the song?

  • @Thundermanneke2 Bodyjar - Not the Same

  • @swderek Thx, searching for a long time ;)

  • Name of the song?

  • High - not to mention, most are shoulder charges

  • bad video u cant c half of it!!

  • This is RUGBY LEAGUE! Shit sport

  • @brupey have you played it?

  • @Slickbullet813 Played both league and union for years. As a game tp play and watch, union shits all over league!

  • @brupey I thought you meant like Rugby in General was a shit sport. my bad dude. misinterpreted.

  • @Slickbullet813 I'm guessing you didn't know there are two different types of rugby?

  • @brupey no i skimmed over it and i saw rugby and shit sport lol

  • anyone know the song?

  • im tired of seeing these football vs rugby comments. both are tough why cant we all just get long and talk about how pussy of a sport soccer is.

  • theres nothing funny on it to lose 3 teeth ! this sport suck balls

  • i played football and rugby and i have to say rugby is more painful by far, and about 100 times more fun

  • woo tony hawk 3!!!

  • This Makes Me Proud To Be A Rugby LEAGUE Player!!!

  • WOW is this boring to football hits

  • @Nickkieg6 don't lie, you love it

  • @Nickkieg6 I love how Americans try and compare hits. Mate, you're wearing two tons of padding and a helmet, my great Grandmother could take a hit wearing all that and she wouldn't spill her coffee.

  • @LisaJJMerry really? i play back yard football all the time no pads pads hurts more for me more head to head collisions

  • @Nickkieg6 you wouldn't last 20 seconds on a Rugby field, stfu

  • @LisaJJMerry I could, Id be in hiding 30 meters behind the action

  • @Nickkieg6 yeah but you dont have to get treded on by big bastards with metal studs on there feet do you

  • @Nickkieg6 massive pads to protect there tiny, fragile bodys

  • @GAMESGLORIOUSGAMES is that why nfl players average bigger stronger and faster then rugby...

  • @Nickkieg6 to carry those heavy pads to protect there fragile bodys and i want proof of that average

  • @GAMESGLORIOUSGAMES You know why pads are used in football? TheodoreRoosevelt was going to ban the sport because on average 30 players died and over 300 career ending injuries happened EACH year in college FB. The forward pass and the ability to block your opponent makes football a FAR more dangerous game then rugby.Even with pads football is more dangerous.Your more likely to small injuries in rugby (cuts, bruises, etc.)than in football but are more likely to get seriously injured in football.

  • @whothaplaya 30 players (which i doubt) died playing this? watch?v=1_LdSS345As

  • @GAMESGLORIOUSGAMES AMERICAN football.

  • @whothaplaya In all fairness, any mentally challenged mong can run into each other for 5 seconds, then take a break for 30 seconds while they rearrange their makeup, can they keep it up for 80 minutes? I think not. What does the WORLD play? Rugby. The RUGBY world cup, the yanks just don't get it that rugby players keep on the ball constantly, whereas in yankieball you end up with fat guys bouncing on each other, most never touching a ball in their careers. I'll watch the world's game thanks

  • @whothaplaya well thats wrong becuse on average 3 players die every year during the game of rugby all over the world. I don't know if you know the England hooker Steve Thompson? He was inflicted with a neck injury which shifted his vertibrae in his spinal column which was deemed life threatening and his career was said to be ended.. he was told he could never play again. BUT, several years later his determination and passion for the game allowed him to play again. Its not just small injuries.

  • @wilbo125 I never said it's just small injuries. You are more likely to have a career ending injury in football than Rugby. 16 people died playing football last year alone. 16>3 and there are far more people playing rugby then football.

  • @Nickkieg6 Jonah Lomu was 18 stone and could run the 100m in 11 seconds. American footballers are either fat as fuck and just push people, or theyre very very fast and not very big. Rugby players are both. Plus Rugby players need to be extremely fit. Unlike American footballers who do something for 3 seconds then have a minute break to make sure their pads are all in order. Fucking pussies

  • @doza2112 you think those fat fucks are fat? hell no look up suh, and marcell dareus they are both 300 to 340 and dont have a thing a fat on them... warren sapp weighed 320 ran a 4.60 in 40 yard dash they have speed also and look and look at vernon davis 265 ran a 10.6 in 100 you know what gets really annoying i can say all these names and can come up with A LOT more but all i ever here from you rugby guys in jonah lomu and that fag france guy got any one else in those leagues?

  • Rugby players cant afford to be 300/340 pounds because they actually have to run around for 80 minutes. American footballers have no stamina. How you even have the nerve to say any of this shit when american footballers are padded head to toe is beyond me. Such a joke, and you clearly think we're right otherwise you wouldnt keep going onto rugby videos and feeling the need to reply to everyone who says american football is shit. you seem to be insecure about something

  • @doza2112 i guess you don't understand why they are padded then... .back in the day they barely had pads to many injuries and fatalities and now the players have gotten bigger faster and stronger they need that padding cause we can actually have head to head collisions... also on another video someone told me to watch rugby hits came here and stated my opinion also those 340 pound guys take on other 340 pound guys sometimes 2 every play let me see how exhausted rugby players would b after that

  • @doza2112 AF is most often played and practiced without pads. "We know" what unequipt hits feel like: watch?v=igaOBAw5D-I , watch?v=XQfAXlDH4K4 . We also know that hits with H&P's are much more devastating and more dangerous. Have you hit , or been hit in full equipt? All of the greatest Gladiators and Warriors in the world and throughout history have worn armour! Btw, AF linemen are often incredible athletes, with rediculous str, spd, aglty, and endurance. watch?v=akRJ-xbb5Lo

  • @bebomac5 yeah but theyre still covered in pads... the idea that warriors throughout history all wore 'pads' is a pathetic argument. They wore armour to stop themselves being wounded. if they didnt that a simple stab wound could kill them. In wars, people dont just run up to each other and bum into each other you retard.

  • @Nickkieg6 Mate Boring, NFL pust me to sleep most of the times, Tackles??? Yeah in NFL They might be a big collision but most of the time the ball gets thrown at one of the fans or dropped. LEAGUE FTW!!!

  • I love rugby!

  • rugby doesnt have pads and football has a hole lot of fatasses no offense im really big fan of football.

  • What is up with the girly music for such a manly sport?

  • Hell yeah, Footy and Bodyjar!

  • Fuck yeah, Footy and Bodyjar!

  • Looking for more rugby action? check out rubgy.nl

  • @slazymo THis video is Rugby LEAGUE! Rugby Union is a different game!

  • not seen his rugby union

  • This is RUGBY LEAGUE THE BEST SPORT IN THE WORLD !!!!!!!!

  • @theocorcinos union>league

  • most of these are illegal.

  • I'm reading what you're saying, but all I'm really getting is "football is boring and slow, like chess."

  • der erste tackel is der coolste

  • A lot of these tackles are illegal but they still look good!

  • @gallstonethefirst

You are a moron you obviously haven't played league b4 or even know the rules, so why don't you fuck off and watch something else you are a dickhead.

  • im had a bigger hit and i nearly died :)

  • and BTW iv got 4 friends that have done american football and rugby and they all said that rugby is a far more tougher physically than NFL as u dont get rests between plays and one of them said the first time they got hit playing rugby it knocked the wind out of them as they couldnt belive how hard they wer hit

  • @N1ghtstar4 there are 2 codes rugby league and union. Union is probably tougher with unlimited phases and more effort required at the breakdown. this video is league

  • @raulcontrao05 you say probably tougher? I'm guessing you played niether? I have & trust me league is a LOT harder to play, fitness levels required by the forwards is much much greater than in union.

Fact is the ball spends so much time out of play in union you can catch your breath, the backs do naff all in union for most of the match.

People say league is stop start, have a crack & come back & say which one knackered you out the most. 9 times out of 10 it'll be league.

  • @ynotnilknarf39 Gotta say I agree. I prefer and play union but the level of fitness required for league is probably more than 95% of sports out there.

  • also the number one reason for pads is that you can hit your opponent , lifting him into the air, then you smashing him into the ground.

It's common for running backs' to jump into the air , at the 1 yard line, while he is in an airborne dive, he can be legally hit. Usually, they fall directly on their heads.

It's fun to watch players get spun in mid air because they were hit, they getting helicoiptered sucks

  • en. wikipedia. org /wiki/Tackle_(football_move)

The table at the end of the post, shows you what is legal and illegal in every major sport that using "Tackling".

Please understand, just because the game stems frmo Rugby , doesn't mean its the same game anymore.

  • @boohowdy

Also, I'm a fan of most sports. I watch French Rugby every Weekend on TV. I follow NHL, NBA and NFL. I'm not a big baseball fan, and I'll watch Aussie Rules when it's on TV ( not as much anymore).

    My favorite sport is Soccer/Football.

All sports are great and fun. Each has it's own rules, and from first glance all sports look simple and some look similar to others. It's just another way to express the competitive nature of mankind. I love sports.

  • @boohowdy french rugby is really low quality watch the NRL for league or the Super 15 for union with 5 teams from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

  • its fine, i was just merely pointing out that alot of the things you said were wrong is all...and the knights are actually running seventh atm and are 3wins from 5matches..u would have been better picking the canberra raiders to make your point as they are running dead last..

  • best tackle is the first tackle properly executed and a hell of a hit

  • Im sorry but if u want to see big hits watch the southern nations rugby its style of play is mostly fast paced and running with the ball as a pose to penalties

  • dangerous!

  • música culia gay!!!!

  • lol there like run at me boois

  • This is Rugby LEAGUE, not Rugby!

  • @brupey true!!! some people are so dumb they dont even know what game they are commenting on..

  • shit quality..................

  • alot of these are high...not cool.

  • @dumpiedude And a lot of these are just a bodycheck

  • @dumpiedude They arnt realy, its rugby league Get hit high take it in, Then take ball in and smash the bloke who hit you high... !!!!!!

  • whats the song for this video?

  • @keeghan1000

Not even the same game. I don't care if non-Americans don't like NFL football, and I'm equally happy none of you will ever understand the game.

The hits aren't the same, there is nothing you can claim otherwise. Claiming we're a bunch of "girls" because of American football just means y ou are largely ignorant of the sport, which is as it should be.

    Contact sports != Collision sports.

  • @boohowdy I agree. Ive watched a few Rugby matches to get a feel for the game. Trust me, "big hits" RARELY come. Not as exciting as i thought itd be, still a good game but most of it was scrambling and diving for the ball rolling around on the ground. Theyre completely different sports, its like comparing baseball to tennis. and I probably saw about two "bone crushing" hits over three games. In the NFL how ever, there are bone crushing hits EVERY GAME. Only ignorant people compare the two

  • @kemoblue4u

"bone crushing hits" ??? hmmmm.. yeahh with like like a fuck load of body protection ?

  • @kemoblue4u this is rugby LEAGUE though not rugby union that u would have seen if they were running around scrambling for the ball as u put it. two totally different games in them selves.

  • @boohowdy i just dont get why u guys need all that padding though..ive watched the game, and to be honest its simple to understand..but anyway the hits arent all that hard at all..at present in the Australian Rugby League competition there are over 30 high profile players out injured in the first month of the season alone due to the physicallity of the sport..each year the players get faster n bigger which equals heavier impact in tackles. yet they refuse to wear any pads or helmets..

  • @bentarrow169

The game started using pads with the nation got tired of having dead college ( amateur level) kids dying from playing.

It was almost banned in America.

The ability to block a player without the ball requires that you wear gear. You basically are being charged by a grown man, and he's running directly into you, with both of his forearms in a position that strikes you. They can do this from any angle, just can't trip ppl

The tackles aren't the same as Aussie Rules, or Rugby.

  • @boohowdy no because they dont even really tackle in the NFL, its more of a grapple or a wrestle and they use the pads to hold a player when blocking. im sorry but the game just doesnt seem rough enough to use all those pads..i think you guys only wear them because NFL wouldnt look as cool without them..oh n also due the massive sponsership deals from companies such as under armour and riddel..

  • @bentarrow169

Football is a collision sport and you are describing a penalty called "holding".

Go to the link i posted it explains the differnt tackles that - i learned actually- are allowed in NFL and CFL that are illegal in the other sports that have 'tackling'.

It doesnt 'seem' rough to you because you've never played it , that's fine. I don't really care if people outside my country don't understand our football,

Oh well, have a good one. Happy Easter.

  • jhajhaja XD

  • do you actually think that professional IRB rugby trainer knows something that an NFL strength and conditioning coach doesn't ? because if you do u dont have a fully functioning and or developed brain.

  • and anyone that says RUGBY is a non stop sport is a fucking lier, line outs, scrums and simply kicking the ball into touch will stop the game, giving both sides a chance to recover. if you play a position like wing you will do allot of standing around and running at 75 % because u simply dont have the ball, IRB rugby and NFL both push the level of human endurance as far as they possibly can. this whole notion that NFL players are a bunch of unfit monkeys is retarded.

  • @2kjason10 im sorry but really have you ever played in the position flanker neil back who was in the 2003 world cup winning squad he completed the bleep tes and wasnt the first flanker to do so. i havnt heard of any american footballers who have done the same and i think that it is an absolute disgrace that the fat "slobs" in some of the positions can even be considered athletes

  • i loverugby but comparing it toNFL football is unfair, the athletes in this particular video are not what you wouldworld class athletes, whereas in the NFLyour staring 11 are. you think the O line is full of fat slobs, wrong most could compete at a world class level in wrestling shock-put ect. a guy like jakelong is 315 lbs (145 kg's) with a flat stomachand will out run and knock your ass around hard...a guy like carlhayman regarded asaworld classprop would get fuct 1v1 if he had "PUSSY PADS ON"

  • @2kjason10 you know jackshit seeing as this video is league!!!!!!! n yes there were world class players in that video..alot of them..wally lewis was the best player in the world when he played n is why he is reffered to as 'the king' oh n the hit he pulled off, he was actually playing for australia against new zealand, a world class game..kick kosseff, adrian lamm, soloman haumono, laurie daley, ruben wiki all internationals..get ur facts straight next time, u dont even know what game it is! lol

  • @bentarrow169 Solomon Haumono 35 years old played of australia once back in 97 again not talking shit about rugby in anyway shape or form but you dont get any 35 year old dudes playing linebacker in the NFL. laurie daley is 41 played internationally also back in 97. i grew up in SOUTH AFRICA i know my rugby son, its just this particular video there is no international rugby. mostly rugby league as far as i can tell. so again not hating rugby just saying you cant compare rugby league to NFL ball

  • @2kjason10 soloman retired from rugby league 11years ago to become a proffesional boxer.

laurie daley also retired back in 2000.so no, there a no players in the NRL over the age of 35 so im not sure what your point is..thats nice you grew up in south africa but this has nothing to do with rugby as this video is ALL rugby league..and the international match was that off Aus n NZ but alot of the players featured were of world class level..and i never mention anything about comparing league to NFL

  • @bentarrow169 what ever dude get of my dick. some peeps in here where comparing this rugby league to nfl ball i just responded and you just jumped on it, i dont disagree with you some of the guys that play rugby league play on a world class level dont get me wrong. but you get teams like the

newcastle knites that play rugby league and prollywoild get stomped by alott of teams..

  • @2kjason10 ray lewis is 36 this year. Junior Seau was still playing at 40.

  • @UHtiger ray lewis is a a once in a generation type athlete, seau was way way passed his prime at 40. he did not play a significant role on the pats D. if you are trying to compare ray lewis to solomon haumono u have lost your god dam mind. child please.

  • @2kjason10 your statement was "not talking shit about rugby in anyway shape or form but you Dont Get Any 35 Year Old Dudes Playing Linebacker In The Nfl" so i gave you 2 linebackers who are older than 35 and playing. Just calling you out on your statement, not making any comparisons. I like how you had to say linebackers whilst conveniently leaving out quarter backs and kickers knowing full well its very common for them to play past 35. Daley was a skilled position player akin to a qb so.......

  • @2kjason10 comparing him with linebackers is stupid, even though you were completely wrong about him still playing now at 41. He's actually a commentator and has been retired for 10 years.

  • @2kjason10 you dont no shit. there are only a one or two 35 year olds playing NRL rugby league today. laurie daley is 41 now but he retired like 10 years ago.

  • Fuck football rugby is so much better and more physical none of those pussy pads and long ass breaks.

  • Rugby is fucking better

  • 203 people were on the wrong end of those tackles

  • Rugby was invented by God himsself the end.

  • You simply can't hit people in rugby the same way you do in American football, what most people don't seem to realize is that pads act as much as a battering ram as they do for protection. For everyone saying pads = pussies, gear up and get on the line, if you're a rugby player you'll be getting laid out 10/10 times.

  • @weirdo666666 That's true coz you can get hit from all angles. In league you expect a hit with the odd bone rattler that can send you off....

  • @weirdo666666 i like how you said rugby is a bunch of guys pushing eachother around and football is nothing but contact on an offensive line. hey dipshit, the offensive and defensive line of football is nothing but pushing. you dumb shit. the great thing about rugby is that anyone can get possess the ball and be tackled or make tackles. and when you're talking about strategy in football, one player has one set thing to do, rugby players have to think offensively and defensivley, idiot

  • @hense026 Rugby is a much more simplistic sport, there is a lot more thinking and strategy that goes into football. That's not even debatable, it's a fact.

  • @weirdo666666 i guess if you take all those timeouts and run the clock there is a lot of strategy...like chess. rugby is more fast pace and think-on-the-fly type of sport. i suppose with all that extra time in the NFL they have plenty of plays to choose from. i like how you didn't defend your recent submission with the offensive line being physical and rugby players doing nothing but pushing people around. point to me..thank you

  • @hense026 It's actually a bit more than "just pushing". There's even strategy and thinking involved there though as you've never played American football it would be to much trouble to explain it.

  • @weirdo666666 actually i played football from when i was 12 till i was 18 throughout school. all i noticed is that the linemen push people around to keep the defenders from reaching the quarterback or push away from the directed path from the ball carrier. is that enough knowledge of the offensive line for you? i guess if that's strategy and heavy thinking then you are probably on the same intelligence level of forest gump. can you come up with anything logical?

  • @hense026 I can tell you didn't play line, or if you did your coaches were pretty shit lol.

  • @weirdo666666 first of all i didn't play line, my brain capacity was higher than that of a primate so I ran strong saftey throughout my football career. and secondly our football team's coaches happened to have coached matt speath...don't know if you knew who he was but he was heath miller's replacement for the NFL's Steelers...anything else you want to throw out there to be shattered by me?

  • @hense026 Well primates actually include humans. I presume you mean monkeys etc though and I really doubt a monkey could pull a 3.7 GPA. And coaching Spaeth (presumably in highschool) really means nothing, and doesn't reflect on their ability to coach line.

  • @weirdo666666 well i'm refering to your comment on how our coaches were "pretty shit". as you so well put it. so it does mean something, that you're beating around the bush everytime i make a valid point against your claims. it's gone from defending your football to talking about monkeys pulling a 3.7 GPA. nobody cares how your monkey ass can do math. it's obvious you can't stay on track with the discussion at hand... Rugby vs NFL. you lose....good day sir

  • @hense026 Actually you're the one who brought up monkeys and I was defending myself. Ad hominems are the sign of a weak debater who can't actually counter the argument (which you obviously couldn't/didn't and instead resorted to personal attacks). You're the one beating around the bush, you never even played line so how would you know so much about it? I suggest you stop trying to look smart because you're going to lose. I can already tell by you spelling/grammar who the true "monkey" is.

  • @weirdo666666 So you're defending your monkey race? that's sad. and don't mention if i played line or not, have you ever played rugby? i have played both sports and enjoyed both, so i am entitled to my opinion to compare the two. oh, and for your last comment..'.I can already tell by you spelling/grammar who the true "monkey" is.' way to look smart you retard, did you realize you forgot an 'r' on 'you'...unless 'you trying to make fun'... idiot. i think it is obvious who the true monkey is
