People take trial mode combos too seriously. I can say that after finishing everybody's trials, most characters only had 3-4 combos that are actually viable in real matches. When I say viable I mean taking meter and screen position into consideration. What people should focus on is certain individual segments of the trial combos and try to implement them into their own combos. Most of the cast can do easy HD combos that deal 750+ damage with just two bars of super.
& Nobody wants to watch trial mode, the computer shows it to you if you watch the demo of it. Also, the patch will NOT improve netplay, unfortunately. Just let you more accurately know who has a shitty connection.
Trial mode is just for fun, the combos are flashy and very situational. Don't expect trial mode to teach you useful combos like SF4. It's just there for a challenge. So, taking everyone through Trial mode might be pretty useless, I wouldn't waste your time, and it would hold little educational value. If you're new and you're trying to help other new players, you should talk about frame rates, mix ups, match ups and your general play experience.
All I wanna know is can you shorten your inputs like SF3 3rd strike to cancel special into super? bcuz special into desperation is brutal especially F,HCF inputs they just kill me and my pad
KOF does has 'shortcuts', but they are kind of weird. I don't really want to describe them too much, because I might butcher it, but I'll give you an example. For qcb->hcf, you can (I THINK) do qcb->db->f, and it will register as the same input. It's really move specific though.
They have a list of shortcuts on several sites that will help. Go to DreamCancel (probably the best US KOF site) or the KOF XIII wiki on shoryuken. Or just google 'KOF XIII shortcuts'
Thanks, man. I really wanted to main K' (loved him since 99'/2000), but I haven't practiced him at all! I've been so focused on Iori. This tip really does help
An eight-minute video where a man drones on about working on execution, learning combos, playing as much as you can, and other blatantly obvious things that anyone looking for this video probably already knew. Hope the rest of the series will actually teach something.
If the video doesn't reach your standards, my apologies. I'm still trying to learn how to make my content better. I do appreciate the comments, good or bad, because I can look at what I need to improve.
I will say that this is meant to be an introduction video -- I wasn't trying to get into anything in particular. But even with that said, I'll try and reformat how I do my video with ep. 3 and on, so I won't 'drone' as much.
I'll keep an eye out for your kof vids. Just started playing and I like it a lot. The key to continuing liking it is winning so I'm looking for all the help I can get.

I hope you know that the game is called King of Fighters XIII, not just KoF.
