why would you net a bluefish? Is is commonly know that you gaff them

The Blue Fish have teeth so you are right about gaffing, but I want to put it back in the water and once you gaff they die most of the time. Catch and release is important to do some of the time.

hmmm we release them alot after gaffing them ive never seen one die because of it

Fish are extremely sensible to injuries and will for sure die in 99% after gaffing and releasing-- not at once but within max. some days. It's generally considered as abuse if you do so in civilized countries...

Realy good fight. They are strong fish and grow up to 20 pounds and are all muscle.
