  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

I thought it was impossible to play this, that's why it's on his album! haha

  • Guthrie is a close friend of mine and he and his family actually sport a extra large portrait of me dear ole great great great.... grand dad Mr. Guy Fawkes himself right on their living room wall! :-)

  • This should be a jam with Steve Morse - two genius players playing improv country rock fusion!"

  • This should be a jam with Steve Morse - now that would be the oncert to die with yer boots on!

  • OMG, like Dweezil said ... fasten you seatbelt

  • okay he's a genius no doubt

  • Just ... damn.

  • absolutely amazing!!!!!!

  • the ending is souh park theme ajajjaja

  • didn't Steve Morse do something similar with Dixie Dregs?

  • йобтваюмать!!!!супер!!!!

  • so lucky to see him live in a cafe, i would love to see him live!

  • geesh what is that a twelve string bass. man gurthrie is an a m a z i n g guitarist

  • @chesshirecat2 6 string bass I think, maybe an MTD

  • Rhoad Island Shred!!! Kotzen is the guest solo on the CD.

  • Its kotzen? I thought it was bumblefoot. :)

  • you may be right, there are two guest solos. i might have them mixed up.

  • oh i remember now, kotzen did Ner Ner, right?

  • Why does Guthrie have nowhere near the recogniton he so rightly deserves???

  • haven't you watched network tv in the past 2 years? clearly the only way to achieve recognition is by dancing with the stars

  • ahhahaha, guthrie would be awesome on dancing with the stars!

  • , @durpindurper he's gotta land a big gig with someone ... like Dimeola with Return To Forever, Jimi with Chas Chandler (animals/manager), Vai with Zappa and Roth, Randy with Ozzy, Marty with Megadeth, hell even Yngwie with Alcatraz ... but unfortunately those days are FAR over in music. the industry is really terrible right now.

I hope the best for Guthrie cause he's a monster

  • @durpindurper Doesn't prance around like a dickhead or join a band that needs a good guitarist

  • @durpindurper Because when the average radio listener hears this type of awesomeness they explode. So radio stations are afraid of the lawsuits when people die from hearing this. Only true guitar fans can hear this without bursting into spontaineous combustion. Of course this is a theory. :)

  • @guitarcrazy019 oh wow- what a clever way to say "imho" at the end. Nice!

  • @durpindurper He does, he is so modest and hasnt sold out. He loves to play music, and teach. He doesnt want to go on an 18 month tour.. He is a true virtuoso.

  • @durpindurper

I was just thinking the same thing

    This guy is just incredible.

I never heard of him before and now I'm completely freaked out why I haven't

  • @durpindurper No idea, may be not enough people know him yet. But he is out of this world!

  • @durpindurper because he doesnt really care, he was offered a record deal in the 90's but turned it down.

  • AWSOME SHOW!!!

  • i was there! awesome show!
