All of these films are brilliant, i don't know why they have been labelled "worst" in your title. They are entertaining as fuck and some of the them are funnier than any Hollywood comedy in the last 10 years. Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus has possibly one of the funniest scenes from any film ?v=I16_8l0yS-g watch it and find out. If you don't laugh then you must have had a stroke.

@SpockBorg5 basically it was a mockbuster of Cloverfield, it should not to be confused with "Monsters" a legitimate movie (released in theaters) made not by The Asylum but by the same guy who's doing the godzilla remake.

1,000,000 BC came in 1966 before 10,000 BC so if you got a version that came out later it is a remake. Cheaper By the Dozen came out in 1951 about an eficancy expert with 12 children based on a real story, another movie unrelated to it called your mine and ours came later that a guy with 8 kids marries a woman with 10 kids. Steve Martin came out new movie called Cheaper by the dozen unrelated to the first. Another movie called Yours mine and ours came out copying first version and new Cheaper.

Konga was similar to King Kong, but an experiment turned a chimp into a giant gorrilla, Gorgo which lived in the sea and sort of resembled Godzilla but had fin like ears was also in some ways similar to King Kong in that it was a monster taken captiven in a fishing net and put on display at a carnival, mother came up out of the ocean and stomped though London and rescued him. Later the Hulks foe the Abomination was made to look similar but not the movie version that looked more like Swamp thing.

Actually there is a few different movies about aliens raping people One was called "Species", another called "Decoys" and both had sequels. Similar movie to decoys was called "The Faculty" although in this one they were taking over peoples bodies insteads of raping them, also similar to "invasion of the Body Snatchers" that came out before it.

Didn't the transformers copy Voltron defender of the universe? and before their was the power Rangers there was a Japanese version called the Ultra Force or something like that that later went solo and was called Ultraman. Of course Long after ultra force but before transformer was a series called Capt. Power and the soldiers of the future. Also Land of the Lost and Jurassic Park copied Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle, they even called the sequel to J.P, Lost World which was the original title.

How do you rate Gamera vs Zigra and the other Gamera movies. Gamera is a giant fire breathing turtle with big teeth thatstick out on both sides of his mouth he also ejects four jetflames where his legs normally go to spin in a circle and fly through the air. Zigra was a giant fish that flied and shot an energy ray. Real low budget special effects and Gamera would sometimes get help from some Japanese kids.

Snakes on a Train came out a few days before on DVD, but it was still a rip-off. The Asylum, which produced the movie, heard about Snakes on a Plane early on and decided to make a film with a similar title and story, hoping people would mistake it for the real thing. Snakes on a Train was filmed in only a few months and on a low budget, allowing it to be released at about the same time. The Asylum is notorious for making these types of movies, called "knockbusters."

Yeah, "The Asylum" should definitely be shot for shamelessly capitalizing off of other major film releases (especially for shamelessly supplying them with confusing nearly-identical titles which, in my opinion, is the even greater insult/crime). As for the movies themselves however, I've got to admit that "TransMorphers" (pt1) was a pretty decent movie (given the budget they had to work with) and consider their version of "War of the Worlds" (pt1) the best of all versions ever made (scary, huh?)

Or at least most of them are made by The Asylum. #10, #9, #8, #4, #3, and #2 are definately made by them.

@chrisisreed That may be so, but the advertising for snakes on a plane was overblown in both size and time. There were countless websites promoting the film years before it was released in theators. You couldn't get away from it on the internet or on tv, and considering the quality of the ripp-off film it wouldn't be hard to imagine the writers whipping this up in a short amount of time based on the commercials alone. You can get alot done fast if you don't care about quality.
