BAD services. We left a small tip b/c the girls there were fairly rude to customers. When we were making payment at the counter, the cashier demanded a bigger tip, and he told us that we are SUPPOSED to leave bigger tips to them when we go to their restaurant. He even told us either put more money down on the tray, or don't dare to go back to their restaurant, EVER. Guess what? we don't care, and shame on him
I've seen you post this story all over the internet; if you "don't care" then why are you devoting so much time and energy to telling everyone about it? It's true that the table service leaves something to be desired, but I certainly haven't experienced any rudeness in the countless times I have dined there since they opened in 1996. Tips go to more than just the waitstaff; they are shared by the kitchen staff as well and no restaurant in Vancouver is going to take kindly to non-tippers.
Very good restaurant, I totally recommend this if you like Chinese noodle. Don't go if you don't care much for noodles.
