A number of ways : lower the graphics settings on the game, get more RAM, get a decent video card (256 Mb or higher) or if all else fails get a new computer =D

You must chieve your goal with the fctions that are already playable.

Than the other factions are also playable.

But you can also conquer a faction.

Like conquering Denmark with the Holy Roman Empire and if you do that than you will be able to play denmark.

you have to beat the grand campaign first with one of those factions either on long or short campaign then ALL of the factions are unlocked to you to play on campaign.

ummm... actually no, the only way to unlock a faction is to defeat them completely in the grand campaign, if you defeat them you get them. It's just that by winning the grand campaign you usually defeat pretty much every faction so i can understand how you might have been confused.

ive run into a problem, while installing the 1.2 patch for medieval 2 total war so i can install the expansion, a pop-up came up saying that no installment of the game was found on my computer, any suggestions?

try uninstalling then cleaning your registry with some program like ccleaner you should have no troubles unless you have a downloaded version which is most likely ripped, in that case your expansion will never work, I tell you this because if its the case then you should stop wasting your time and buy the game.

Me too! There is nothing alse to see on Medieval ages! Every conflict, and map is revealed with Kingdoms! and Med2 so there is no need for Medieval 3! (for now) Rome 2 would be nice! or I would prefer Medieval: Dark Ages, like a 3rd person hack'n'slash in Medieval times! Would be AWSOME! For PC and 360! and PS3!

HELP im new to this game and i need some help.I have a 3D Fuzion Nvidia GeForce 6200LE video card. The whole appearance is different. Then, while a run medieval 2, the screen has a black strip on the right side and the game screen is cut off. Then, while im in the grand campaign, everything goes black and a small window pops up and says "Fatal Graphics Error" and when I click okay, it exits medieval 2. PLEASE HELP ME.
