I "purtroppo" come molti sono onnivoro e la carne mi piace... ma un conto è ammazzare per divertirsi e per folclore un conto per mangiare. So benissimo che si vive anche senza carne... ma non siamo ne tutti uguale ne tutti vegetariani ne tutti onnivori. Il paragone con le faroer e il macellaio, se pur dia cosi fastidio ai vegetariani, secondo me non non ci azzecca. Ciao.

@hivemind99999 come ho già detto, gli abitanti delle faroer uccidono le balene per cibo, grasso e combustibile. a differenza di chi compra la carne al supermarket, loro uccidono in prima persona anziché delegare a terzi. in più, le balene vivono nel loro habitat naturale fino a che non vengono uccise, gli animali di cui forse tu ti cibi nascono e muoiono in gabbie. il paragone non è azzeccato, è vero, ma forse non nel modo che pensi tu. saluti.

questi abitanti ricavano cibo, combustibile e grassi dagli animali che uccidono, così come noi ricaviamo cibo, vestiario e quant'altro da quelli che vengono uccisi qui da noi. non è che le balene meritino di vivere più dei polli, maiali e vitelli, ti pare?

non è una questione di meritare di vivere, solo che polli, maiali e vitelli sono selezionati e allevati dall'uomo al solo scopo di cibarsene, mentre i delfini e balene sono animali selvatici, se li massacriamo senza concedere loro il tempo di riprodursi finiremo per causarne l'estinzione, il mondo andrebbe avanti lo stesso,ma certo anche gli abitanti delle Faroe perderebbero la loro fonte di sostentamento

@IlPamphlet sicuramente rassicura la coscienza l'idea che nei nostri macelli gli animali vengano uccisi all'istante; in realtà il metodo usato (compressore che spara un chiodo nel cervello) non sempre ha effetto, e visto che bisogna fare in fretta, capita che gli animali siano ancora coscienti mentre vengono macellati e scuoiati. non c'è bisogno di andare tanto lontano per trovare l'orrore.

@MrNondisponibile la carne viene proibita solo alle donne incinta, ma in ogni caso non è solo per quella che uccidono questi animali, ne ricavano anche grasso, materiale combustibile e per costruzioni. si chiama autoconsumo. meglio comprare il tonno rio mare secondo te? su quali basi credi di poterli condannare, scusa?
la tradizione riguarda il modo in cui vengono uccisi gli animali, come può essere la macellazione halal per gli arabi o quella kosher per gli ebrei.

in ogni caso, se astuzia e ingegno significano allevare animali in luoghi dove tu non passeresti 30 secondi della tua vita per il solo scopo di ucciderne a milioni ogni giorno, sperimentare su animali vivi a scopi cosmetici, scuoiare vivi animali per ricavarne pelle e pelliccie e molto altro, beh, wow, che grande civiltà siamo. homo sapiens, certo.
