It is kind of a "daytime" feel. I was introduced to this when I was in a real shitty mood and it brought me out of it (almost) completely. I know that the lead singer sounds like John Lennon and they draw many sounds from other times and blahblahblah but this album has simply blown me away. I dont really care if naysayers dismiss this album right away because it has become a part of the soundtrack of my life.

I love when people say artist 'steal' from other artists. Think of art like a flavor. When there is a successful art style, many artists will implement it into their own style. Who's to say that artists are restricted to come up with things without influence? It'd be a sad world to live in without this band, and others like it.

@misspretendy They ripped off their predecessors, so did the beatles, everyone does it. We immitate what we hear subconsciously. These guys have their own sound as well, hopefully we will see that develop in their next album which is supposed to be more of a " night time " themed album as opposed to Innerspeakers " daytime" feel.

this sound reminds me of my first experience with acid. I was walking through a forest with a friend. It was a cloudy and damp day. When we finally reached a clearing, the sun came out and all the bugs flew around and birds chirped and it was like magic.

@DimebagsLeftToe they are... they fucked up when they edited the video. I thought so too until further inspection.(if you refer to the part where the drummer hits the drum and the beat doesn't go with the music its because they showed that part twice)
