Actually, the original version is floating around You Tube. I've heard it. It's good in a different way, very 1970s. I was a kid in the 1970s so it has a different kind of appeal for me. I don't think O-Zone takes credit for having written it, btw. My son (16 yrs old) made up his own misheard lyrics for this song to annoy me--including substituting for "tu, iubire, spunele, ce-a fost no s-a pierdut" the words "do you be the spoon I lick--yeah, so what's up there dude?" ~K

Yeah, like I said before, I'd rather see a spoof than a truly BAD translation any day. I once saw somebody substitute something almost obscene for "amintirile" on You Tube, so this is nothing but an innocent spoof :) Weird Al does it all the time with English songs (one of my favorites is Canadian Idiot, a spoof on the song American Idiot) I'm american and I don't get offended by American Idiot either...there are plenty of them! ~K
